Adult Day Programs

Adult day programs

Adult Day Programs provide services to people with disabilities aged 21 and over who require comprehensive support in their daily lives. The centers provide opportunities for social encounters, activities to enhance the skills necessary for independence in everyday living and significant recreational occupation, self-expressions and active participation in a variety of life areas. The day programs aim to help every person realize their potential according to their individual desires and create comprehensive personal programs including all necessary adaptations towards this end.
Health-field related professionals including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and communication therapists proved individual and group therapies in the centers. Likewise, social workers and caregivers in expressive therapies such as art, music, drama and more provide emotional support.
The day centers constitute an integral part of the community and work to establish a connection via volunteerism and contributions by participants in the communities’ various institutions and organizations.
Joint activity for the general benefit establishes the day centers as be a fundamental component of the surrounding society.
