Program goals
  • Sharpening the necessary skills and talents required for full inclusion into the competitive job market and individual career development.
  • Job placement and accompaniment by the most highly qualified and finest placement advisors.
Program Employment Preparation
  • Development of self-presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sharpening personal management skills.
  • Performance skills and “soft” skills.
  • Getting to know the changing job market.
  • Preparation for inclusion in the job market.
Program Structure
  • The campus will be open 5 days per week (Sunday – Thursday), between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Three days will be dedicated to preparation, classes and training at the “Crossroad to a Career” campus.
  • Two days will include exposure to various job opportunities and locating prospective jobs.
  • Additional sessions during afternoon hours.
Requirements for Acceptance
  • People with autism recognized by the Department of Social Services in the service recipient’s town of residence.
  • Aged 18 and over.
  • People with a desire for personal growth interesting in participating in the competitive job market.
  • Individual interview.
  • Program participation is dependent upon approval by the Department of Social Services in the service recipient’s town of residence.
