Program goals
- Reinforcement of the skills required for full inclusion in the competitive job market and for individual career development.
- Support provided by highly qualified job placement experts.
Employment Preparation Program
- Development of self-presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reinforcement of personal management skills.
- Development of performance and soft skills.
- Learning about the dynamic job market.
- Preparation for inclusion in the competitive job market.
Program Structure
- The campus will be open 5 days per week (Sunday – Thursday), between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Three days are dedicated to preparation classes and training at the “Crossroad to a Career” campus.
- Two days include learning about the job opportunities available and locating potential jobs.
- Additional sessions during afternoon hours.
Requirements for Acceptance
- Individuals with autism recognized by the service recipient’s local department of social services.
- Aged 18 and over.
- Individuals with a desire for personal growth who are interested in inclusion in the competitive job market.
- Individual interview.
- Program participation is subject to approval by the service recipient’s local department of social services.
